Selling with Hakuna Assist
Sell product protection in direct customer contact
This guide shows you how to sell product protection to your customers using Hakuna Assist, a web-based tool.
To use Hakuna Assist, you first need an account. If you don't have an account yet, please contact us.
First Login
Once your account has been created, you will receive an email with your username and a temporary password. If you cannot find the email invitation, please check your spam folder.
When you log in with these credentials at https://assist.hellohakuna.com, you will be prompted to choose a new, secure password. Choose a new password that meets Hakuna's security criteria:

Click Sign in

Completing a Transaction with Hakuna Assist
1. Submit Product Information
In Section 1, enter the required product information and select the appropriate product category from the dropdown list. Make sure to enter the complete product description in the "Model" field (e.g., "iPhone 12 248 GB, black" or "GG 0027O 002") and enter the price in cents in the "Price" field. Once you have filled in all fields, click "Next" to proceed to Section 2.

2. Choose a Protection Plan
In Section 2, all protection plans available for the product will be displayed. Click on a protection plan to select it and automatically proceed to Section 3.
If no protection plans are available for a specific product, you will see an error message.

3. Add Customer Information
Obtain the customer's permission for Hakuna to process SEPA payments, enter the required customer data, and then click "Next" to proceed to Section 4.

4. Add an Internal Note (Optional)
If you wish, you can add your employee ID, name, or another identifier so the sale can be attributed to you. This information will not be shown to the customer. When you're done, click "Next" to proceed to the final review.

5. Review the Entries
Check the overview on the right side and confirm that the provided information is correct.

6. Privacy Notice
Open the privacy information by clicking the link above the "Buy now" button and let the customer read the information.

7. Customer Completion
The customer should click "Buy now" themselves to complete the sale. You will then be redirected to a confirmation page and the customer will receive a confirmation email. You can print the confirmation page as proof of purchase for the customer and/or as a record for your future reference.

Congratulations, you have just sold your first product protection with Hakuna Assist! To start a new transaction, simply click "Start over".
